Ingredients (serves 2-3)
2 ripe avocados, peeled and stoned
100g good quality dark chocolate (70–85%)
2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk or water
1 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of flaky sea salt
Optional to serve: raspberries, chopped pistachios, cacao nibs
Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt gently in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender or food processor.
Add the melted chocolate, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla and salt.
Blend until completely smooth and glossy, scraping down the sides if needed.Spoon into two small bowls or glasses.
Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour to set.
Serve topped with fresh berries, chopped pistachios or a sprinkle of cacao nibs.
